A $50 One-Time ThriveCart Alternative (That Includes the Whole Store)

A seller I know had two tabs open last week. One was the ThriveCart pricing page. The other was LaunchPad. Both promised the same magic words: pay once, never again. Verdict first: those two products are not competing with each other. ThriveCart sells you the checkout. LaunchPad sells you the store. Price the wrong one and you pay twice.
Start with what ThriveCart actually is, because the marketing reads like a store. It is a shopping cart platform: the checkout pages, one-click upsells, order bumps, a built-in affiliate center, and an online course platform called Learn. It charges 0% transaction fees, which is genuinely good, per this 2026 review. You still bring the website it sits on, the traffic that feeds it, and the email list that launches it. None of that is in the $495. Add those up before you compare it to anything.
The price, as of this month
Standard runs $495 one-time for a lifetime license, and ThriveCart was still linking to it in mid-October, verified October 12, 2026. What changed this year: in July, ThriveCart added monthly plans for the first time in its history, Standard at $47 a month and Pro+ at $87, per Ruzuku's pricing breakdown. Pro+ at $87 a month is $1,044 a year, and it exists for the affiliate-and-course crowd. The lifetime deal has always been sold as limited-time. Now that a subscription exists, there is finally a commercial reason to retire it.
Do the three-year math on the monthly card: $47 a month is $1,692. The $495 lifetime pays for itself in under eleven months against its own subscription. If you want ThriveCart, the lifetime license is the rational buy while it is still on the page. The question is whether you want ThriveCart at all.
Who it is actually built for
ThriveCart is built for a specific seller: someone with traffic and a launch, selling courses or digital products through affiliates. The affiliate center is the tell. Pro adds affiliate management, subscription recovery, sales-tax handling, and client features. If your business runs on partner launches and one-click upsells, ThriveCart is priced like a bargain next to the subscription carts it competes with.
Flip it around. If you sell printables or physical products to walk-up traffic, you are paying for an affiliate center you will never open and a course platform you will never fill. A funnel tool without a funnel is a $495 checkout button bolted onto a site you still have to build.
Most of the small businesses I see buying ThriveCart are not running launches at all. They bought the pitch: no monthly fees. What they got is a tool whose best features assume a funnel they do not have. The lifetime deal is real value, but only if your business already looks like the business ThriveCart was built for.
The $50 tab
Launchpad by Brucepro is the other tab. Fifty dollars, once, for the whole store: the products, the pages, the checkout, the customer emails. No monthly fee, no cut of your sales, no tracking. The reason it exists is personal. My wife needed a store she owned outright, and nothing on the market sold a whole store for one flat price. So I built one.
One is a $495 upgrade to a cart you already have. The other is a $50 store for when the store is what you are missing.
Count your products. If the number fits on one hand and you already have a site that converts, buy the checkout. Otherwise you are shopping for the store, and the store is fifty bucks.
