LaunchPad Terms of Service
These are the terms for the LaunchPad application itself. Effective August 1, 2026 (v2026-08-01). You accept these in the app on first run; they are published here so you can read them before you buy.
1. Agreement
LaunchPad is desktop software published by BrucePro. By installing or using LaunchPad, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
2. Your License
Your one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use LaunchPad to build and operate your own online stores. The software is licensed, not sold. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license, or attempt to circumvent licensing. You keep everything you create with it.
3. What LaunchPad Is (and Isn't)
LaunchPad runs on your computer and generates a store that YOU deploy to YOUR OWN Cloudflare account, with payments through YOUR OWN Stripe account. BrucePro does not host your store, run your servers, hold your data, or process your customers' payments. LaunchPad is a tool you operate — not a hosted platform or a marketplace.
4. Your Accounts and Costs
You are responsible for your own Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, and any AI-provider accounts, and for any fees those services charge. LaunchPad works within their free tiers for typical small stores, but usage beyond those tiers (traffic, storage, email, AI) is billed by those providers directly to you. BrucePro has no control over and no responsibility for third-party pricing or service changes.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your store's content, the products you sell, and compliance with all laws that apply to your business — including taxes, consumer-protection and refund law, shipping, data-protection/privacy obligations to your customers, and the legality of what you sell. You agree not to use LaunchPad for anything unlawful or for content that infringes others' rights.
6. Your Data and Privacy
Your store data lives in a local database on your computer and on the Cloudflare account you control. BrucePro does not collect, transmit, or store your store data, your API keys, or your customers' information. Your keys and secrets stay on your machine and in your own Cloudflare/Stripe accounts. You are the data controller for your customers' data.
7. Payments to You
Customer payments are processed by Stripe and flow directly to your connected Stripe account. BrucePro never touches, holds, or has access to your sales revenue or your customers' payment details. Stripe's fees and terms apply to those transactions.
8. Updates and Support
Updates and support are provided on a reasonable-effort, as-available basis and may change over time. We aim to keep LaunchPad working against current versions of the services it integrates, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility as third parties change their platforms.
9. Refunds
If LaunchPad is not right for you, email support@brucepro.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. We ask only that you email from the address you bought with, so we can find the order. Nothing here limits any rights you may have under the law that applies to you that cannot be waived.
10. No Warranty
LaunchPad is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or that any store built with it will achieve any particular result, traffic, or revenue.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrucePro's total liability arising from LaunchPad is limited to the amount you paid for your license. BrucePro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for third-party service costs or outages, or for lost sales, data, or profits.
12. Termination
These Terms apply as long as you use LaunchPad. You may stop using it at any time. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by redistributing the software or using it unlawfully).
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, the app will ask you to review and accept the updated version. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Montana.
